How old do I need to be to sign up for a  “Pilot for a Day” familiarization flight?
Anyone can be “Pilot for a Day”. If you are under the age of 18, you will need a signed letter of consent from a parent.

 
What will I get out of a familiarization flight?
This hands-on experience will introduce you to the thrill of flying, from take-off to landing! There’s nothing like taking the controls of an aircraft to find out if flight training is really for you. Familiarization flights are also a great way of getting to know our school and instructors.

 
If I take a familiarization flight and then decide to train for a licence, can my flight hours be credited toward my licence?
Yes, your flight time will be logged toward your Commercial Pilot Licence or Recreational Pilot Permit.

 
How long does a familiarization flight last?
The “Pilot for a Day” familiarization flight involves 1.5 hours of ground school and 45 minutes of flight time.


What is co-pilot training?
Co-pilot training is specially designed for people who often accompany pilots. This course will enable you to actively participate in the operation of an aircraft. Learn to read charts, navigate, understand aviation terms, manage radio communications and more.
