Professional Pilot

Dual hours completed in the context of Night Flight, VFR Over-the-Top and other ratings may be logged toward the 35 hours of dual flight time required for the Commercial Pilot Licence. All flight hours completed in the context of the Private Pilot Licence are creditable toward the professionnal licence.

Privilege
The same privileges applies than for the Private Pilot Llicence but you can be remunerated for it.

Minimum age: 18 years old

Medical requirements: Class I

 
Transport Canada’s minimal requirements
Have a Private pilote licence
Theory course (80 hours)
35 hours of flight with an instructor
30 hours solo
200 hours total time (100 hours pilot in command)

Exams
Written exam at Transport Canada
Practical flight test with Transport Canada’s accredited inspector
