VFR ON TOP

The Commercial Pilot Licence automatically entitles the holder to exercise the privileges of a VFR Over-the-Top (VFR OTT) rating.

Privileges
Fly above clouds provided weather conditions are normal at departure and destination airports.  You should not be required to pass through clouds at any point during the flight.

Transport Canada’s minimal requirements
Have a Private Pilot Licence
15 flight hours of dual instrument flight time
